The IGAD Committee of Ambassadors endorses the ISTVS Strategic Plan (2016 -2020)
The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) 30th Committee of Ambassadors meeting held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on 6th June 2016 endorsed sectoral strategies and implementation plans that will be implemented between 2016-2020. The ISTVS Strategic plan was among the sectoral strategies that were endorsed.
The sectoral strategies and implementation plans are anchored under the IGAD Regional Strategy and Implementation Plan 2016-2020 that was approved by the 55th Extraordinary Meeting of the IGAD Council of Ministers in January 2016 in Addis Ababa during which the Committee of Ambassadors was given the authority to endorse the sectoral strategies and implementation plans.
