ISTVS advertisement campaign at Sahil region 2019
As a provider of specialized animal and agriculture programmes in Somaliland and the Somali ecosystem, ISTVS is committed to improving the social, economic and environmental well-being of current and future generations in the region.
IGAD Sheikh Technical Veterinary School (ISTVS) conducts annual advertising campaigns in the Horn of Africa in an effort to boost student enrolment. The advertising campaign in the Sahil region was conducted by of two members of staff. The team visited a total of seven (7) secondary schools.
The students were very keen to learn about the courses offered at ISTVS. A presentation about the school was made which highlighted the courses offered and the career opportunities.
The team distributed application forms, flyers, brochures and posters. By the end of the advertising campaign, a total of 225 applications were received.
