Getting knowledge on Data Analysis and Statistics

A workshop takes place at ISTVS campus between the June 7-11 2015 to conduct an overview of the research process, data analysis, data management and statistical packages such as Micro Soft (MS) Access and Stata (Data Analysis and Statistical Software). Two members of the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI) team Nicholas Ndiwe and Francis Wanyoike conduct the workshop.
One of the purposes of training is to enhance the knowledge and skills of the participants to analyse data in a fast, accurate and systematic manner. The participants learn how to design research questions, hypothesis and data needs.
By the end of the workshop all participants should be clear and knowledgeable in data entry, cleaning and transferring which will help the participants in the theory and practical application of the statistical analytical techniques.
