Brief on the 5th ISTVS Governing Council meeting, 24th May 2016, Sheikh
The 5th Governing Council meeting was held in Sheikh on the 24th May 2016. The council deliberated on issues pertinent to the smooth operations of the school. Among the key issues discussed included ISTVS Strategic Plan (2016-2020), framework for staff development, the report on the survey undertaken in 2015 on demand and supply of tertiary education in Somaliland, Puntland and Central and Southern Somalia and the advertising campaign for the 2016/2017 intake.
It was recommended by the Governing Council members that the suggestions made on the ISTVS Strategic Plan be incorporated and circulated and the framework for staff development be formulated and tabled during the next (6th) Governing Council meeting.
